*****highly recommend! It does everything it states. 39y/o female, dealing with hot flashes, night sweats, fatigue (due to becoming a furnace off and on randomly all night). Dealing with "Perimenopause" according to my OBGYN, (she's wrong and rude but whatever lol jk) I decided if I was going to deal with hot flashes I was not going to smell like it! I never really sweat much to begin with so yes, I'm slightly dramatic about it... Anyways, things I wasn't prepared for.. Taste: it is naturally flavored and the taste is very subtle. However, to me it's like drinking toothpaste flavored water. I can't stomach 8oz of water with the taste of it. Instead what I find easiest is, mixing it with an ounce or two of water (in a shot glass or something small) and chasing it with a glass of filtered water. Then I go brush my teeth as this is the very first thing I do in the morning while I wait for my coffee to brew. How PIGMENTED it is. I kept the seal on mine and made two holes one to pour from and one to vent to minimize and unnecessary splash. It doesn't/hasn't stained its just one small drop can go far so I'm quick to clean it before it settles anywhere lol. It can cause and upset stomach and soften stool, I don't have issues with this as it actually helps me with the issues I have. It can also change the stool color to green. (It's soooo pigmented) I also read it can change the color of your tongue but, I haven't experienced that. Things I've noticed.. I have much more energy. I'm up at 0400 each morning. I'm more alert and more on task at work. I don't feel so bloated during times of the month that I would. Or after meals that would generally cause bloating. My skin looks healthier, glowier as my coworker put it. My muscle recovery is quicker. It can also act as an anti-inflammatory for some people so this may be why recovery is quicker. I've also noticed I've had less headaches. Chlorophyll is an antioxidant and can cause more frequent urination, which I do experience. Be sure to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. Again, its filtering stuff out of your body. I have no odor. Even on the 90+ degree days here in the Southwestern part of the United States. On that note,.. sunscreen is extremely important when taking chlorophyll as your skin can be more sensitive to the sun and can burn easier. My appetite has been more consistent. I'm not craving junk food. When I want to eat it's because I'm actually hungry not snacking fighting to stay awake towards the end of the day. (I would snack on chips or whatever and then wouldn't be real hungry for dinner so I was eating smaller portions) I weigh 110 lbs at 5'3" so not looking to lose but has helped curve unhealthy cravings so may help someone who is looking to work towards healthier eating habits maybe to lose weight or to help regulate appetite with healthier options to gain weight such as myself. We take this everyday! Love the flavor and the benefits we get. It cuts back on body odor and you get the nutrients of green veggies! You poop the emerald city but it’s all good! Lol We are about 20 miles one way from town so produce isn’t something we buy allot of as it goes bad in the fridge and we don’t get into town everyday to buy fresh so this helps us get the benefits of greens. The only issue we have is twice now the caps have split which means we can’t shake it. The first time the cap broke upon opening. Then today I opened my shipment of two bottles and one of the caps had broken and was laying in the bottom of that box. The second bottle cap was good. Luckily the seal held and nothing spilled but now I have one bottle in use that the cap is broken on and a back up that the cap is broken. Not that big of a deal but inconvenient. I purchased this chlorophyll in hope to assist with overall health, bowel health and detoxification of the liver. First of all, the taste is delicious! That is if you like a fresh, peppermint candy cane! I do. I read the reviews about how messy this is, which it is. So, because it needs to be refrigerated, I put a portion of it in a recycled brown glass tincture container that has a glass dropper. For the past week I have been using the dropper fist thing when I wake up (about 6-10 droppers full) and before I go to bed. I drink enough water during the day that I don't have to take it with the glass of water. It is a nice breathe refresher first and last thing in the day. However, I noticed this is not enough for my system. Although i am seeing "emerald green" bowel movements, I haven't noticed anything else and I have been taking this consistently for just over one week. I am now increasing my drops to 3 times a day (when I remember) and will take it with water in the afternoon as a iced minty beverage. I love the flavor, its like an iced marroccan mint tea, but so much better with the fresh peppermint. I've also used it in homemade chocolate bark (85 percent coco, coconut oil, sea salt, honey, and chlorophyll. Just freeze until solid, break apart and keep in the refrigerator for up to 10 days) and it tastes like a mint chocolate. I have to say, seeing your bowel turn emerald green is amazing! Just becareful not to spill this stuff on anything like cotton, or that will absorb or it will stain. It has stained my finger nails very easily and my kitchen towels. I have been buying powdered chlorophyll supplements to add to water for extra hydration but they can be pricey if you use them on a daily basis. This is a perfect substitute and works just as great! Also, you can add in as little or as much as you want to your desired taste. With other products I noticed an artificial aftertaste but not with this. Since using chlorophyll I have clearer skin, less body for and I have also lost weight. This is a great energy boost and it also seems to help with anxiety. I like to mix it with water or add to tea or smoothies. The mint flavor is very smoothing and this bottle will last a long time. Good bye to the powders! The liquid is very dark so be careful when opening because it could possibly stain your countertops.
