OMG is all I can say. I developed Piriformis syndrome as a triathlete, and as I'm aging, this thing is absolutely perfect. I have had, and used, mine for 8 or 9 years now, no kidding, fairly often, and as a Personal Trainer, have recommended it to innumerable clients. It's just the right shape for getting out muscle knots (tennis ball shape) AND it has 2 speeds; I do tend to use mine in ways it shouldn't be used (such as sitting on a dining room chair with it under the piriformis muscle and leaving it on longer than I should) but it's taken all the abuse, and it still works just fine. Our previous similar model lasted about 20 years. However, the new replacement was used about 6 times for less than 10 minutes each time and it stopped working properly. The last time it worked there was an unusual noise/buzz. The final time, the motor inside the handle ran but the head was not "connected" to the motor so the head did not vibrate at all. Obviously, this was either a dud or the new ones don't have anywhere near the quality of the old ones. We were very disappointed by the quality of this unit, to say the least. Read more
