Not its intended use, I know. But this uses rice bran as filler, and rice bran, in enough quantity, can potentially interfere with taurine: "One study found that cats fed a diet of 25% or more rice bran had lower taurine levels, which can lead to a taurine deficiency. Taurine is an essential amino acid for cats that can only be found in animal protein. A deficiency can cause blindness and congestive heart failure."
