My daughter is a big reader and loves book series' that are magical, mythical or have strong femal leads. She reads 2 chapters to me every night and we are 2 books in so far to the series and boy these are badly written. The transition between thoughts is abrupt with not enough description. Ideas seem random and thrown together without much thought which makes it harder to follow and leaves the reader with many questions or having to assume alot. For a book that is supposed to be for young readers there are many gaps that require the reader to be well versed in geek mythology in order to fill in the gaps for the story to make sense. Save your money and get something else. Read more
