Muchas veces jugando Risk uno tiene una estrategia perfecta, pero por la suerte uno tiene que esperarse hasta el próximo turno para jugarla y de esa forma los juegos se alargan de manera arbitraria. Este juego no tiene eso, en lugar de dados todos ponen una misión secreta para sus tropas que se revela junto con las de los demás jugadores, toda la batalla entonces cambia de un momento a otro, es necesario crear alianzas si quieres sobrevivir, y volverte bueno traicionando si quieres ganar. Es un juego competitivo, con dinámicas de mantenimiento de unidades como la producción de comida, y temáticas como una invasión de salvajes del norte que genera un daño a todos los jugadores o solo a los menos afortunados.
